We design most of the products that you see on our website. Many styles can be ordered in custom sizes and materials and the lead-time is often no longer than if you were ordering them as shown. Commissions for bespoke furniture and accessories are also welcomed, as are wholesale orders produced in larger quantities.

| White Washed Tables |

These handsome tapered tables were commissioned by an interior design firm for the athletic offices at a university. They were turned from solid pieces of Fir at our local workshop and then placed in a solar kiln to season for about 10 weeks.
Afterwards, the tables were finished with a hand-rubbed white wash stain and sealed for protection. This custom design has proved so popular that a version of the tables is now offered as a part of our permanent collection. |

An interior design firm in Boston specified wool felt from our online partner Stansborough Wools of New Zealand to create floor cushions for a Decorator Showhouse
at the W Boston Residences.
We worked with them to develop three perfect shades of grey felt from
one of he rarest natural fibers in the world, which is 100% environmentally safe with no harmful acids used in the coloring process. |

We were commissioned by a national clothing retailer to produce a stenciled cowhide version of our authentic Zebra Hide Bench for their retail window displays.
The lead-time for this custom development was short, but the benches were fabricated and shipped to each location, literally just in time. Like some of our other custom developments, a version of this stenciled cowhide bench is now available for order online. |

We created our Dominguez and Bosque Stool Tables at custom dimensions for a California casino. They are offered online in Margosa wood from India, but as is so often the case, we fabricated them locally with a shorter lead-time.
They were finished in a custom honey-brown stain to mimic the color of the tables as shown on our website, after being seasoned in our solar kiln. |

The people who make our products... |

Artisan Workshop (India) |
Many of our most popular styles are handmade at a workshop in India, including our leather pillows, turned wood stool tables and leather goods. Any of our online styles can be customized, and unique designs in similar materials are also available.
Every week, we receive air shipments from the Indian workshop of smaller items, such as pillows and waste bins. Larger items, including tables and stools, come by container and usually take between 8 and 16 weeks for delivery. We can also drop ship directly from the workshop, which is a good option for orders with delivery outside of the USA. |

Woodworkers (New Mexico) |
|

We produce many of our wood tables, stools and accessories locally here in New Mexico, USA, working in woods such are Fir, Elm, Cottonwood, Olivewood and Pine.
Our local artisans can turn tables and stools up to 32 inches in diameter and they also specialize in handcarving designs into the wood.
When custom orders for our wood tables and accessories are made locally they have a lead-time of 4-8 weeks. |

Wool Artisans (New Zealand) |
We work with Stansborough Fibres in New Zealand to create custom designs. Owners Barry and Cheryl Eldridge have bred a rare grey sheep over several decades to develop its wool for production.
What is now known as 'Stansborough Grey' sheep wool is spun, and then woven at the Stansborough Weaving Mill, or felted by hand.
We have worked with them to develop custom pillows from the sheep pelts, hand felted rugs and mats, scarves, and, of course, wool blankets and throws. |

We have relationships with artisans from across the globe who produce traditional crafts. Many of these small cooperative and independent craftspeople are able to produce custom one-of-a-kind designs.
In the past, we have developed products such as flatwoven rugs (Peru), beaded jewelry (India), leather rugs (India), throw pillows (South Africa), painted jewelry (Mexico) and textiles (India.)
